Teletherapy
WHERE DO WE BEGIN?
I provide a 30-minute consultation to determine goodness-of-fit and to make sure you are going to get the most out of our time together. If my approach feels suitable for your journey, you will need to download the Simple Practice app on your phone or have access to the link through your computer:
I use a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted platform called Simple Practice to perform our sessions and maintain records. You will get a link to a client portal once we get you in the system, where you can access documents like invoices and superbills on your own. You'll need to sign the forms before we begin our first session. You will pay through sessions through there that are automatically processed after session so you have a hassle-free payment experience.
DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
I have a 24- business hour cancellation policy. You will be responsible for 1/2 the session fee if you forget our session.
I understand life is busy, and consider context with cancellation/emergency exceptions. Insurance will not cover missed visits.
Out- Of- Network
I am an Out-of-Network Therapist. Your insurance may still provide coverage for OON Therapy.
Please call and ask your insurance if they will pay for out-of-network services for Therapy.
Questions to ask that can be informative:
Does my plan provide reimbursement for out-of-network mental health care with a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern?
If so, is there a separate deductible?
What percentage of out-of-network costs does my plan cover?
Do I need pre-authorization for out-of-network services?
Is there a limit to the number of sessions that will be reimbursed per year?
How do I submit for out-of-network reimbursement?
Insurance plans require upfront billing codes your therapist will be using. You can share this list of codes for their approval to make sure they will approve:
